Connor ClaireCourse 1

You can skip these

These are real topics. Knowing them will not help you expand or maintain connorclaire.ca. Mentioning them sends you down the wrong path. This course will not explain them.

CORS
A browser same-origin rule. It is not on the visit, deploy, or email path you will debug.
React Server Components internals
You need “the page can arrive in pieces.” You do not need React’s rendering contract.
Edge vs Node runtimes
Vercel chooses. You watch the Deployments tab.
Bundlers (Turbopack / Webpack)
Build plumbing. Failure shows up as a red deployment.
Git objects, rebase, reflog
Commit, branch, main, and push are enough for Course 1.
Cloudflare Workers, WAF, CDN theory
This zone is a DNS phone book. Product depth is later, if ever.
Certificate cryptography (ACME)
Once DNS is correct, Vercel issues HTTPS. You do not issue certificates by hand.
SPF / DKIM crypto details
Those rows must stay or mail breaks. Migadu’s diagnostics tell you if they are wrong.
HTTP status encyclopedias
404 means the page is missing. That is enough until Course 2.
npm lockfile mechanics
Do not delete package-lock.json. That is the whole lesson.
TypeScript and ESLint deep dives
Authoring tools. Course 2, with an agent sitting next to you.
Docker / containers / Kubernetes
Not in this architecture.
